Fire Safety & Prevention Training

The threat of fire and explosion hazards can occur in just about any work area. To further instill fire safety and prevention awareness, a training course was held recently at our wood manufacturing factories and CPO mill.

The aim of the training was to provide employees with the skills and knowledge on fire prevention measures and how to respond to fire emergencies at the workplace. The course was conducted by a qualified trainer from Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad, Mr. Syed Zain Syed Noh. A total of 143 employees attended the training.

The course first covered the theoretical aspects of fire safety at the workplace which was then followed by practical training. Participants were taught to handle fire hosepipes and portable fire extinguishers.
