Environmental Awareness Training

On 5 December 2024, an Environmental Awareness Training, jointly organized by Jaya Tiasa Holdings Berhad and the NREB Bintulu Division, was held at JTH Auditorium. This in-house training was attended by 103 participants from Sibu Office, as well as representatives from respective estates and mills. The objectives of the training were to increase awareness of the environmental impacts associated with oil palm plantations and forestry, implement sustainable agricultural practices that improve environmental quality, ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, promote innovative waste management and recycling practices, and to equip participants with strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
